Alaska Gold Granite

Alaska Gold Granite commands attention with its warm, golden-yellow base energised by flowing veins and patches of brown, black, and cream — a stone whose rich, sunlit palette makes it one of the most sought-after gold granites in the Indian export market.

Despite its trade name, Alaska Gold Granite is quarried in the stone-rich belt of Rajasthan in North India (and in some variants from Karnataka in the south) — not from Alaska. The “Alaska” designation is a commercial grouping that covers a family of related granites sharing similar geological origins. Alaska Gold’s warm base colour and dynamic, non-repeating surface pattern have made it a consistent top seller for kitchen countertops, flooring, and wall cladding projects in the USA, UK, UAE, and Australia. With a compressive strength of 1,920 kg/cm², a bulk density of 2,720 kg/m³, and water absorption of just 0.15%, it is as practical as it is visually striking.
