Rainforest Gold Marble occupies a unique position in the Indian marble range — it carries the distinctive organic, branch-like veining that defines the Rainforest marble family, but rendered in a warm gold, amber, and cream palette that brings a richness and luminosity entirely its own. Where Rainforest Green reads as natural and earthy and Rainforest Brown as warm and rustic, Rainforest Gold feels genuinely luxurious — a stone that catches light in a way that elevates any space it occupies. It is primarily quarried from Rajasthan, India, and is among the most exported of the Rainforest marble varieties.
At Stone Harbor, we source Rainforest Gold Marble from established quarries in Rajasthan and export in tile, slab, and block form to clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
Origin & Composition
Rainforest Gold Marble is a metamorphic stone quarried primarily in Rajasthan, India. Its characteristic gold and amber tones result from iron oxide and limonite mineral deposits distributed through the calcite-dolomite matrix, while the signature branch-like veining — in lighter gold and white — is formed by secondary mineral infilling of the stone’s natural fracture systems over geological time. The result is a stone whose colour and pattern are entirely natural and unrepeatable between individual slabs, making each installation inherently unique.
