Adhunik Grey Granite

Adhunik Grey Granite is a contemporary Indian grey granite with a clean, balanced surface pattern that suits modern architectural and interior work. The name “Adhunik” itself means “modern” in Hindi, and the stone earns it — the medium-grey base, fine mineral grain, and absence of dramatic veining give it a quiet, architectural quality that pairs well with steel, glass, and polished concrete.

Origin & What Makes It Unique

Adhunik Grey is quarried in Andhra Pradesh, India. Its consistency is the standout feature — unlike many granites where every slab tells a different story, Adhunik Grey produces remarkably uniform output across blocks, which makes it valuable for projects requiring large surface areas with visual continuity (lobby floors, facade systems, multi-room residential builds). The grain is fine and even, with subtle darker flecking that gives the surface depth without busy patterning.

Applications of Adhunik Grey Granite

Used widely for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, and feature walls in residential interiors. In commercial work, it serves well for lobby flooring, reception desks, and facade cladding. Its even tone makes it a natural choice for projects where the granite needs to act as a quiet backdrop rather than a focal point. Exterior performance is strong across both hot and cold climates.

Available Finishes

We supply Adhunik Grey Granite in polished, honed, leathered, flamed, and brushed finishes. Polished brings out subtle mineral depth. Honed produces a clean matte reading favored in contemporary interiors. Leather adds tactile texture. Flamed is available for slip-resistant exterior installations.

Formats & Thickness

Available as raw blocks for slab production and as finished slabs in standard thicknesses of 15mm, 18mm, 20mm, and 30mm. Custom thicknesses available on request. Slab sizes typically range from 260 x 160 cm upward, with gang-saw cut options for consistent batch-matching across larger projects.

Export & Packaging

Stone Harbor exports Adhunik Grey Granite worldwide in standard export-grade wooden bundles and sea-worthy crates. Slabs are edge-protected and strapped against marine movement. We handle full container loads (FCL) as well as LCL shipments and coordinate documentation, inspection, and port logistics from Mundra, Kandla, and JNPT ports.
