Quarried in Rajasthan, India, Kharda Red owes its colour to high concentrations of red feldspar minerals distributed evenly through a fine-grained granite base. The saturation and consistency of the red, combined with reliable supply from established Rajasthan quarries, make Kharda Red a dependable specification for traditional and monumental projects.
Kharda Red is widely specified for monumental and memorial work where its colour and weather resistance are valued, exterior cladding and paving in traditional architecture, and kitchen countertops, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls in residential interiors with traditional or rustic palettes.
We supply Kharda Red Granite in polished, honed, leathered, flamed, and brushed finishes. Polished produces the deepest, most saturated red reading. Honed gives a softer matte finish. Leathered and brushed add tactile texture. Flamed is available for slip-resistant exterior installations.
Available as raw blocks for slab production and as finished slabs in standard thicknesses of 15mm, 18mm, 20mm, and 30mm. Custom thicknesses available on request. Slab sizes typically range from 260 x 160 cm upward.
