Red Galaxy Granite is a striking Indian granite distinguished by its deep red-burgundy base scattered with luminous mineral flecks that catch and refract light across the surface. The combination of saturated red ground and crystalline flash creates a richly atmospheric stone that pairs beautifully with warm metals and traditional interior palettes.
Quarried in southern India, Red Galaxy owes its character to a deep red feldspar-rich granite base seeded with mica and quartz crystals that produce the signature galaxy effect. Each slab’s flash density and pattern is genuinely unique. Note that Red Galaxy and Galaxy Red are distinct stones with different colour balances and mineral patterns — Red Galaxy reads warmer and more burgundy-toned.
Red Galaxy is specified for kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities where its drama becomes a focal feature, fireplace surrounds and bookmatched feature walls, and bar tops and reception desks in hospitality interiors. Its hardness and weather resistance support exterior facade and monumental applications.
We supply Red Galaxy in polished, honed, leathered, flamed, and brushed finishes. Polished maximises the metallic galaxy flash. Honed produces a deeper, softer red reading. Leathered and brushed add tactile texture. Flamed is available for slip-resistant exterior installations.
Available as raw blocks for slab production and as finished slabs in standard thicknesses of 15mm, 18mm, 20mm, and 30mm. Custom thicknesses available on request. Slab sizes typically range from 260 x 160 cm upward.
Stone Harbor exports Red Galaxy Granite worldwide in standard export-grade wooden bundles and sea-worthy crates. Slabs are edge-protected and strapped against marine movement. We handle full container loads (FCL) as well as LCL shipments and coordinate documentation, inspection, and port logistics from Mundra, Kandla, and JNPT ports.
