Description
Topaz Blue Granite is a luminous Indian granite distinguished by its deep blue-grey base scattered with crystalline mineral flashes that catch and refract light. The combination of saturated blue ground and brilliant flash creates a gemstone-like surface тАФ the name is well chosen тАФ perfect for installations where the stone itself becomes the design feature.
Origin & What Makes It Unique
Quarried in southern India, Topaz Blue owes its character to a deep blue-grey feldspar-rich granite base seeded with mica and quartz crystals that produce the signature flash effect. Each slabтАЩs flash density and pattern are genuinely unique тАФ the size and distribution of the crystalline highlights vary block to block.
Applications of Topaz Blue Granite
Topaz Blue is specified for kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities where its luminosity becomes a design feature, fireplace surrounds and bookmatched feature walls in luxury interiors, and bar tops and reception desks in hospitality projects. Its hardness and weather resistance support exterior facade applications.
Available Finishes
We supply Topaz Blue Granite in polished, honed, leathered, flamed, and brushed finishes. Polished maximises the crystalline flash for full gemstone effect. Honed produces a deeper, softer reading while preserving the blue tones. Leathered and brushed add tactile dimension. Flamed is available for slip-resistant exterior installations.
