The stone
Our Botticino Classico lot is a warm beige with wavy golden-brown lines and small fossil flecks. The lines run in soft horizontal waves, so a floor reads as calm and even rather than busy.
Botticino is quarried near Brescia in Lombardy. It is a dense, compact stone, traded as marble, and its warm tone suits Indian homes with wood, brass and earthy colours.
Because it hides dust and everyday marks better than bright whites, Botticino is one of the most practical Italian marbles for whole-house floors.
If you like the warmth of Botticino but want an even, almost plain cream, ask us about Crema Marfil from Spain (from ₹250/sq ft). For a white floor at a similar budget step, look at Carrara (from ₹500/sq ft).

Applications
Our first suggestion for large floors on a budget: warm, even and forgiving of dust.
Works well in living rooms and lobbies with warm lighting.
Like all marble it etches with acids; seal it and wipe spills quickly.
Warm beige bathrooms with brass or gold fittings.
Treads and risers that match a Botticino floor.
Buying advice
Every genuine Italian lot arrives with import papers. Ask to see them for the exact lot you are buying, not a sample.
Natural veining changes from slab to slab. Printed tiles and engineered copies repeat the same pattern; real marble never does.
Buy from slabs you have seen, at the yard or in lot photos of the real lot, not from a catalogue picture or a single sample tile.
Import papers are available for every lot on request.
