Black Gold Granite

Black Gold Granite is a luxurious Indian granite that pairs a deep, near-black base with golden and amber mineral veins running across the surface. The contrast between the dark field and metallic-gold movement makes it one of the more dramatic specifications in the catalog — architects and designers reach for it when the brief calls for prestige, opulence, and a high-contrast statement.

Origin & What Makes It Unique

Black Gold is quarried in southern India. The gold veining comes from iron-rich feldspar and pyrite-class minerals concentrated in dykes through the rock. Each slab’s vein pattern is unique — some blocks produce slabs with broad, dramatic gold rivers; others give finer, more delicate gold filigree. This variation is a feature, not a flaw, and is what makes Black Gold work for bookmatched feature walls. shipments and coordinate documentation, inspection, and port logistics from Mundra, Kandla, and JNPT ports.

Available Finishes

We supply Black Gold Granite in polished, honed, leathered, flamed, and brushed finishes. Polished maximizes contrast between black and gold and is the preferred finish for statement applications. Honed produces a softer matte reading.
