Crystallo Gold Quartzite

Crystallo Gold Quartzite is one of the most luxurious expressions within the Crystallo quartzite family — a stone that combines the family’s celebrated translucency and hardness with a rich, warm gold and amber colouration that brings an immediate sense of opulence to any application. It is not a subtle stone. In polished form, Crystallo Gold radiates a warmth and depth that genuinely transforms a space, whether used as a kitchen countertop, a feature wall, a backlit reception desk, or a statement bathroom vanity. For designers looking for a natural stone that functions as well as it looks and communicates genuine luxury, this is a compelling choice.

At Stone Harbor, we source Crystallo Gold Quartzite from quarry operations in Rajasthan, India, and export in slab and block form to clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

Origin & Composition

Crystallo Gold Quartzite is a high-purity metamorphic quartzite from Rajasthan, India — within the same rare quarry system that produced the 2025 Natural Stone Institute Stone of the Year (Crystallo Rare). The stone’s rich gold and amber base tones result from elevated iron oxide and limonite mineral content embedded within the high-purity crystalline quartz matrix during the metamorphic process. The characteristic warm golden veining is formed by secondary mineral infilling of the stone’s natural fracture systems. Like all Crystallo family stones, Crystallo Gold exhibits partial translucency, enabling light to pass through the stone’s crystal structure — a property that enables dramatic backlit applications unique to this stone family.
