Chandana Quartzite

Chandana Quartzite is a distinguished natural stone from India’s Rajasthan quartzite belt, offering a refined, understated palette that makes it exceptionally versatile across a wide range of residential and commercial design applications. Its warm, neutral tones — a harmonious blend of beige, cream, and soft grey with natural mineral veining — position it as a stone that works equally well as a primary surface material or as a complementary element within a broader design scheme. Unlike more dramatic quartzites, Chandana’s appeal is in its quiet sophistication.

At Stone Harbor, we source Chandana Quartzite directly from Rajasthan quarries and export in slab and block form to clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Its consistent quality, reliable availability, and adaptable colour palette make it a strong choice for large-scale specification projects.

Origin & Composition

Chandana Quartzite is a metamorphic stone quarried from the established quartzite-producing regions of Rajasthan, India. The stone is formed through the recrystallisation of sandstone under sustained geological heat and pressure, producing the dense, interlocking quartz structure that gives quartzite its characteristic hardness and durability. Its warm neutral colouration results from feldspar and iron-bearing mineral inclusions within the high-purity quartz matrix, while the natural veining patterns reflect secondary mineral movement through the stone’s fracture systems over geological time.
