Asian Gold Sandstone brings the warmth of Rajasthan’s golden stone palette to a broader tonal range than most yellow or gold sandstones — a rich, layered mix of deep gold, amber, and warm brown tones that creates visual depth and character in any installation. Quarried in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and processed to export standards at Stone Harbor, it sits in the same geological heritage as Jaisalmer Yellow but offers a distinctly deeper, more saturated golden character.
It is a versatile stone: equally suited to the restrained precision of contemporary architecture and the warmth of traditional garden design. In export markets across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, Asian Gold is recognised for the richness it brings to both interior and exterior surfaces.
Asian Gold Sandstone is a sedimentary stone from the Jodhpur region of Rajasthan, India. Its deep golden to amber colouration results from iron oxide concentrations within the quartz-dominant matrix. The stone has a fine to medium grain structure, and its cementation by silica and calcium carbonate provides strong structural integrity and good resistance to weathering.
