Origin and Composition

White Mint Sandstone is a sedimentary stone from Rajasthan, India. Its white to cream base colour with mint and light green undertones results from the mineral composition of the quartz matrix — primarily quartz with trace chlorite and other light-toned minerals. The stone has a fine-grained, smooth texture and a relatively tight structure that provides good durability and moderate porosity.

As with all Rajasthani sandstones, natural colour variation exists between slabs and batches. This is a characteristic of the material, not a quality defect.
